What will your objective be?
As an Assistant Sales Manager, you ensure that everything within the UK team runs smoothly together with your colleagues. Keeping an overview and distributing tasks is no problem for you. You are the first point of contact for Sales Managers & Key accounts. You participate in internal and external meetings. However, if necessary you are also ready to assist the customer care representatives with daily tasks. All to successfully set up the commercial process for your customers.
You enjoy working within an international organization and like to communicate with our customers. We are looking for an entrepreneurial personality with excellent communication skills. You can maintain a good overview and constantly see opportunities to optimize our services. Together with sales, you manage the largest accounts in the UK and provide optimal customer and sales support so that commercial objectives can be achieved. You can easily keep overview of the tasks and priorities, are analytical, possess logical reasoning skills, and work solution-oriented. You are able to really listen to our customers and have a service-oriented mindset. A true team player who enjoys diversity in tasks.
What will be your responsibilities?
- You ensure that the workload within your team is optimally and timely followed up, in collaboration with the customer care representatives.
- You spend time and attention on preparing, analysing, and distributing reports.
- You take care of quotes, orders, assortment, and price lists.
- You support sales managers by developing specific customer and sales actions.
- Together with sales, you manage the largest accounts in the UK and work with them to maintain a good customer relationship.
- You work together with sales to achieve commercial objectives.
- You participate in periodic sales meetings, sometimes in the UK.
- You regularly make proposals for optimizing processes.
What do you bring?
- Bachelor (HBO) working and thinking level.
- At least 3 years of work experience as an assistant in sales, internal sales, or sales support.
- Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with SAP is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills.
- You have a (near) native level of English, and knowledge of the Dutch language is a plus.

All products come from one of Europe’s most sustainable distribution centre. Naturally, all products have a long lifespan (frost-resistant and UV proof) and can be recycled.
